Duel rules and regulations keep a semblance of order, but they don't prevent all complaints. Remember, at the Duel, Mitch is God and Goldie is his son Jesus; therefore, send all complaints and suggestions to them. They probably won't listen, much less do as you suggest, but you can try.

2008 Tournament Format & Rules

• The format this year is 72 Stroke play tournament, NET.
• Max score for all golfers is double bogey.
• In the last 9 holes on Saturday, there will be no max score, these holes must be completed.
• After round 2, we divide into two 10 person flights, 1-10 and 11-20. (For example, whoever is in 11th place will be in 1st place starting Friday in the 2nd flight).
• Absolutely NO mulligans may be used.
• We will waive the 14 club rule for all play

Prize Money

The prize money for the 2008 Duel is $10,000 (subject to 20 players), $5000 per flight.

3rd place - $900

4th place - $700

5th place - $500

6th place - $400

7th place - $300

8th place - $200

9th place - $100

The Tournament Within the Tournament

Partners will be paired up after 2 rounds, 1st overall with 20th overall, 2nd with 19th and so on. The total net score for the team after all 4 rounds both players will determine the winning team.
