Duel rules and regulations keep a semblance of order, but they don't prevent all complaints. Remember, at the Duel, Mitch, Goldie and the Pro have final say; therefore, send all complaints and suggestions to them. They probably won't listen, much less do as you suggest, but you can try.
2011 Tournament Format & Rules
- The format this year is 72 Hole Stroke play tournament, NET.
- Max score for all golfers is double bogey.
- The last 9 holes on Sunday, there will be no max score, these holes must be completed.
- After round 2, we divide into two flights, 1-1 and 11-20. (For example, whoever is in 11th place will be in 1st place starting Round 3 in the 2nd flight).
- Ties decided by a coin toss, with the winner of the toss going in to the 2nd flight. (See Above)
- Absolutely NO mulligans may be used.
- We will waive the 14 club rule for all play
- Any ACE will receive $100 cash (from your pocket) from all participants!
Prize Money
The prize money for the 2011 Duel is $12,000 (subject to 2 players, as of 4-4-2011), $5000 per flight.

The Tournament Within the Tournament

Partners will be paired up after 2 rounds, 1st overall with 20th overall, 2nd with 19th and so on. The total net score for the team after all 4 rounds both players will determine the winning team. If we have an odd number of players, we will blind draw a partner for the remaining player.
